1. Every time I wear it I need high waisted jeans because the jacket is cropped short and doesn't even cover my bum (don't mind my realistically explanations). If you are model height then the jeans choice may be irrelevant to you. As I am petite, low waisted trousers would shorthen my legs even more and make me looking like a dwarf.
2. High heels or flats? Previous post where I was wearing the same jacket, I also had ankle boots on. The entire look aimed for elegant styling and high heels achieved that. It would be equally good if you wear pumps, just not in the snow. 😉 I wanted to show off my new winter boots that haven't had time to own the spot on my blog and it is lucky they share the same colour palette as the jacket. It is a relief to be able to do the shopping in flat shoe wear which is what I was doing at that point.
3. Jacket itself is a statement piece and will be/is the center of your look. Drawing eyes to any other piece can be challenging and can easily turn against you. Larger sized bags can totally work well in this combination yet I would keep it subtle. Try not to choose one that has too many details on or in a colour that doesn't compliment the outfit. You can always go for a smaller bag which is my favourite choice- I like to pick one with thin and long strap and place it over one shoulder. I care that it sits on my hip where it is within my reach when needing something and it is important it doesn't stay in my way when walking (if the strap was too long).
4. Accessories. Expection was made in this post where I wore a silver perfumed necklace from myspirit. It contains a small round sponge which you spray with your favourite perfume and you place it inside the pendant. The scent should linger from two to five days wherever you go and in this case you shouldn't need any additional perfume on you. However, there is an unwritten rule that you shouldn't mix gold and silver. In some cases I would agree with this statement and in some I wouldn't but I will try to write a separate post on jewelry when/if I remember.
How would you style such a piece?
